About the Role

To support Equiduct’s growth and ongoing success across Europe, we are looking for a Head of France to strengthen our relationships with existing clients, primarily across the French market, while ensuring their continued success and satisfaction with Equiduct’s services.

The Head of France will act as the primary point of contact for French clients — nurturing relationships, deepening engagement, and driving client retention and expansion. This position requires extensive knowledge of the French equities and ETF market structure, strong and intimate existing relationships with French brokers and the ability to navigate a dynamic regulatory and competitive landscape.

This is both a strategic and hands-on role, requiring collaboration with teams across London, Madrid, Milan, Stockholm and Berlin.

 


Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading Equiduct’s commercial and client relationship efforts in France
  • Managing and strengthening relationships with existing clients and partners
  • Ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, engagement, and retention
  • Identifying opportunities to grow client activity and deepen partnerships
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of the French market structure and local brokerage ecosystem
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, providing market insights and updates on Equiduct’s products and services
  • Coordinating with internal teams (Product, Operations, Regulatory and Technology) to address client needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Representing Equiduct at local industry events, conferences, and client facing activities
  • Providing regular feedback to the business leadership on client trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments
     

 


Skills & Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  • Master’s degree in business, Finance or a related field from a top-tier institution
  • 8+ years of experience in client relationship management, account management, or execution roles within the exchange, brokerage, or trading technology industry
  • Deep understanding of the French Equities and ETF market structure and the retail execution landscape
  • Strong existing network and intimacy with local banks, brokers, liquidity providers, and general financial institutions in France
  • Proven ability to manage and grow existing client relationships and deliver a high standard of service
  • Commercially astute, with strong communication and proven stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, self-driven, and organized, with the ability to operate independently
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Comfortable with remote collaboration and frequent travel for client meetings and events
  • Native French speaker and fluency in English required (doesn’t have to be native)

Location

  • Remote + Office Space in Paris or Belgium (Hybrid) with regular travel to client sites and industry events, primarily in and around Paris.
  • Travel to collaborate with international teams based in London, Madrid, Milan, Stockholm and Berlin.
